A lot of people seems confused about where to download Google Chrome OS as there is no link on Google website or any other Google site.

Google Wave Important Keyboard Shortcuts.

Well Google wave is here and with invitations rolling out faster than ever,most people are still wondering how to use Google wave the phenomenon they have been waiting for so long. Well with no time to write the ful review of wave(which i will do soon) or the wave guide. Here is a list of some important keyboard shortcuts that can make google wave twice faster for you.

1. Arrow keys: Use the up/down arrow keys to navigate though waves or messages inside wave or the left/ right keys to to navigate among the three panels inside the wave.
2. Spacebar : It gets hard to find a unread message as it grows long. But, if you just press spacebar while inside a wave than it takes you to the next unread/new message inside a wave and it very handy
3. Enter : Do you find it irritating to use ur mouse, click below a mesage to open up the reply box and type the message ? Then this one is for you. You can just hit enter at any message and the reply box would open below it at the same level.
4. Shift + Enter : Press this key combination inside a wave to reply at the bottom of the messages at the same level. Or if you already typing a message then hit the same key combination to submit it.
5. Ctrl  + E : When on a message inside a wave just hit this combination to edit  it.
6. Others : Other keyboad shortcuts like ctrl + B for bold text etc or the Esc. Key to exit etc work inside the wave too.

These shortcuts are enough to help you have a mouse free wave experience which is very important as i hate using mouse especially that track pad on the laptop.Of course there are a lots of shortcuts in wave but these are the basic ones which would make your life easier on wave without making your head go dizzy.  So, Untill my next post Happy Waving.

Many people and my friends keep asking me what exactly a google Wave is and what all it can do. Now i know that the google wave 1 hours 20 mins long video is too long to view for most people. So, here its in simple and concise manner.

Are you unhappy with spam in you Inbox ? Do you receive those fwd msg that promise you all those funny things like good luck or help poor people or on the name of god etc. These msgs also say that please pass on this msg as it costs you nothing but can  change someones life.

Actually, that’s the only line that is true in the mail. That mail doesn’t cost you anything but it changes the life of the person who started the chain. Wondering how ?? Well, let me explain. There are numerous sites on the web which offer you a service that notifies you when your mail has been received by the recipient. That sounds cool. How can that harm you huh. Some go one step further they can also track to whom you fwd that message and the information back to the recipient.

Now, does that ring a bell to you?? When you fwd a message what you actually do i expose your entire friends email list to the sender who actually uses these email to spam you inbox. This technique it useful as people fall for it easily and its useful in getting email id of people like me who are very careful not to let their email id to spammers. Thirdly, it also guarantees that the email id is active.

So, next time you fwd any msg like that think twice. If you dont fwd it no bacd luck will come to you, nor will Gmail or hotmail give any cent for fwding msg or you wont get a free mobile or TV. Because when you fwd these msgs you put your friends privacy at risk (yours is already gone as soon as you received that mail).
